The Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission has determined that the Arcelor-Mittal merger results in a transfer of control and, for this reason, according to Brazilian Corporate Law, shareholders from Arcelor Brazil have the right to receive a public offering for their shares.
Today an announcement was published and Mittal is making a public offer following the Exchange Comission´s decision.
