The tax portion of Brazil’s General Small Business Act (Complementary Law 123/2006) entered into force on July 1, putting into effect the Super Simples simplified tax regime for small businesses. Under Super Simples eligible companies are able to pay a single tax in place of: several other taxes, federal, state, local and social security.
