Federal special tax payment program expired

Provisional measure 303, which Brazil’s REFIS 3 corporate tax payment schedule expired October 27 without receiving final approval from Congress. According to Brazil’s Federal Revenue Department, because the expiration occurred after the September 15 application deadline, the rights of the 120,000 REFIS 3 applicants should be protected and payment should be accepted.
