The state of Minas Gerais in January launches public hearings for the construction and operations of a prison complex in the state under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) regime. This is the first PPP project in the state. Azevedo Sette Advogados, in association with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, has assisted the Minas Gerais government in structuring the entire project.
