Last September 27th, Brazilian Monetary Council approved the reduction of restrictions imposed on Brazilian residents or to those domiciled in the country to legally invest in the foreign capital market and derivative market. Such measure still demand regulation from the Central Bank and shall be announced shortly. The new regulation will revoke the resolutions that only allow investments in the Mercosul stock market or through the purchase of Depositary Receipts and Brazilian Depositary Receipts.
