The most common type of visa granted for foreigners coming to work in Brazil is the temporary V visa. The majority of foreigners come from USA, France, Germany, England and China. Approximately 20.000 work authorizations are granted per year. The sectors that request most manpower in Brazil are oil, technical assistance of equipments and technology information for the banking sectors developing projects. Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo States represent 80% of all work authorizations requests.
